Conversations

This page displays and manages conversation threads from Chatbots with a rich set of features for filtering, reviewing, and taking action on each conversation.

Overview Tab

  • Search Field:

    • Type in keywords to filter conversations by email, HubSpot ID, or any message text.
    • The search is debounced (300ms delay) for smooth performance.
  • Conversations Table:

    • Columns:
      • # of messages: Shows the total messages in the thread.
      • Page URL: Displays the URL from the last user message (extracted from the page title).
      • Created: Displays the creation date (formatted as a full date).
      • Actions: Buttons for viewing details, approving, or declining the conversation.
    • Expandable Rows:
      • Click the expand button to reveal additional details.
      • The expanded view shows thread metadata (first and last message times) and a full list of messages.
      • Messages use icons and styling to differentiate between user and assistant messages; assistant messages are rendered with Markdown formatting.
  • Paginator:

    • Navigate through pages with options for 10, 25, 50, or 100 items per page.
  • Action Buttons:

    • View Details: Navigates to a detailed page for that conversation.
    • Approve/Decline: Approve or decline a conversation; status updates are immediately reflected in the table.

Errors Tab

  • Error List:
    • Displays a concatenated list of error messages extracted from all conversation threads, allowing you to quickly identify issues.

Additional Nuances

  • Real-Time Filtering:

    • The table’s filtering predicate scans emails, HubSpot IDs, and all message texts to ensure thorough search results.
  • Sorting:

    • Conversations are automatically sorted in descending order by their last modified date, ensuring that the most recent conversations appear first.
  • Approval Workflow:

    • Upon approving or declining a conversation, its status is updated in real time, and the action buttons adjust accordingly. Approved conversations are used for improving Chatbot and Assistant instructions, as well as for fine tuning and distillation

This page provides an intuitive interface to quickly locate and manage conversation threads, with detailed insights available on demand via expandable rows.

Note, conversations are stored for 30 days.
