File Configuration
The File Settings Page is your central control panel for reviewing and updating file information. It uses a tabbed interface to separate an overview of file details from the editable settings.
Tabs and Their Functions:

Overview Tab:
- Purpose:
Displays key metadata about the file in a read-only format. - Displayed Information:
- File ID: Unique identifier.
- Name & Description: The file’s friendly name and summary.
- Enabled Status: Whether the file is currently active.
- Client ID: Which client the file belongs to.
- File Name: The original or stored file name.
- Dates: Updated and published dates (formatted for clarity).

Settings Tab:
- Purpose:
Provides a form to update the file’s core properties. - Editable Fields:
- Name: Update the file’s display name.
- Enabled: Toggle the file’s active status.
- Description: Edit the file description to better explain its purpose.
- Validation & Feedback:
The form checks required fields and proper formats (for example, ensuring a description is provided) before allowing you to save. - Actions:
- Save: Commit your changes. The Save button becomes active once the form has been modified.
- Delete: Permanently remove the file after confirmation.

Tab Navigation:
Easily switch between the Overview and Settings tabs. The header shows the file name so you always know which file you are working on. -
Real-Time Updates:
When you save changes, the file’s metadata is updated immediately. If the file has been published before, you can trigger a refresh to view the latest details. -
User Prompts:
Confirmation dialogs (for deletion, for example) prevent accidental changes, ensuring that any critical action is deliberate.
How to Use the Page:

Review File Details:
Start in the Overview tab to check the current file information. Verify file ID, status, and publication dates. -
Edit Settings:
Switch to the Settings tab to change the file’s name, enabled status, or description. Make sure to fill in all required fields. -
Save Your Changes:
Click the Save button once you’ve made your updates. The form validates your input and displays success or error messages as appropriate. -
Delete if Necessary:
If the file is no longer needed, use the Delete button. A confirmation dialog will ask you to verify this irreversible action.
